Private Security Management

This course examines the principles involved in leading and managing private security operations. Areas covered in this course will include leadership, supervision, and a range of personnel issues, including staffing and training, as they pertain to private security operations.

Aviation Security

This course familiarizes you with the fundamental components of a typical aviation system and its multi-level security requirements. In addition to aviation’s various support functions, the organizational structure, governing regulations, inter-agency relationships and management challenges are examined.

Homeland Security

This course focuses on the impact of the war on terrorism upon individuals, society, and government. The course explores changes in the American prospective on constitutional rights, the capacity of the government and the criminal justice system to respond to international acts of terrorism, and how to keep America safe.

Private Security and Public Safety

This course is an overview of history, development, and philosophies of private security within a complex society. The course examines the need for diversity of security systems, and techniques, with an emphasis on the challenges facing the nation and the need to protect employees, workers, manufacturing, and business infrastructure.

Terrorism

This course helps you in understanding terrorism as a political crime. The focus includes an examination of the social, political, and psychological aspects of terrorist behavior and its implications. It also provides a means to see what impacts it has on the private security laws across nations.
